Driving Lessons
What Do I Need To Do To Get Started
You mus first apply for and pass your theory test before you can apply for a provisional license, click the following link to apply;
Once you hace successfully passed your theory test, you can apply for your provisional license. Once received you can start your driving lessons. If your license is dated after April 4th 2011, you must complete the EDT driving course.
Driving Lessons
At Drivesafe Driving Academy, we will assess your driving skills on your first lesson, and design a lesson plan to suit your specific needs. One to one instruction with a door to door service. You will receive instruction to the highest atandard set out by the RSA.
Motorway Lesson
Provisional licensed drivers are not allowed to drive on the motorway network, and therefore can never build up the knowledge or confidence to drive on them once they have passed their driving test. We at DriveSafe Driving Academy offer further instruction after passing your driving test to help you to understand and navigate the motorways correctly and safely. The lesson will cover the following:
- Entering and exiting the motorway by use of sliproads
- Necessary and correct observation
- Overtaking and lane discipline
- Unforseen breakdown procedure
Refresher Course
If you have passed your test and are jsut in need of a refresher course to reeducate yourself with the correct method of driving, we can offer you this service
How many lessons will i need?
This is a common question that students may ask. We cannot give an exact amount of lessons needed as this varies from student to student, and is based on learning abilities. Once we have given you your first lesson we will be better able to understand your lesson requirement.
